Christian's Progress

It has been ten days since the last update, and we’re sorry to have kept some of you in the dark. The Stanford doctors wanted to get Christian into aggressive therapy and we were very fortunate to quickly get him into an excellent program at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. He is making progress each day. They are working him hard; Christian is getting stronger each day, whether it is laughing as Ashley tickles his feet or working on his stretches and physical therapy at the Valley Med. We would like to thank all of you for your enduring thoughts and prayers and we will try to keep you updated as Christian’s recovery progresses.

Thank you so much for the update. I'm glad to hear that Christian continues to make progress, every day. That's huge. Even if the progress isn't major, he's moving forward. And he's laughing! That must feel so good, for him and for you.
Thanks again.

Dude! We won! We beat Sabrato! We played like crap for the first 3 and a half quarters but we came back and in the last 5 minutes and scored 3 td's to win 26-25. It was amazing. Silva almost had a heart attack. He's gunna kill us on monday when we watch that film but thats ok. We're praying for you. cant wait to see you.

I don't know you or your family Christian, but all of you are in my thoughts and prayers everyday! It sounds like you are really doing your part to help your recovery. That is awesome! I have a sister who had a rough turn in life too--she's a fighter like you sound like you are, Christian. That makes such a difference. I understand that some days encouraging words don't hit the spot, but incase it isn't one of those days, I send you my best support, encouragement and love.

Hi Christian,
I saw your picture today and was happy to see your smiling face. Even today, you are studlier than I could ever be. Soon you'll be schooling me on how to stuff some lay ups in basketball. Last game I laid out a six foot-three B back. That's right, the Big E's got game. Hurry up and get well, I miss you.
